Rooted in Scripture.
Ready for Ministry.
Hatfield Ministry School is designed for anyone, young and old, who is called to ministry—aspiring or current pastors, leaders, and those serving bi- vocationally.

About the Program
The Hatfield Ministry School is a hybrid training program built on three pillars:
Academic Preparation (Heads), Personal Development (Hearts), and Practical Ministry (Hands).
Key Features:
-
Our focus is on Whole-Life Discipleship, equipping you to lead and live your faith in every sphere of life, without a sacred-secular divide.

-
While students will receive solid biblical and theological teaching, this qualification falls under the Trades Council (QCTO), so all training is focused on becoming competent in actual ministry work.

-
Godly character development is a high value at HMS. Students engage in discipleship and personal restoration through courses, one-on-one connections, and Spiritual Formation practices. The aim of these practices is Christlikeness.

-
Delivery: Students can study at Hatfield (full-time or part-time) or remain in their local church. Students study online and do their practicals in their local church. We value building strategic training partnerships with local churches.
Equipping the Next Generation

1
Our Vision
We are committed to training skilled, experienced, and Godly Christian religious practitioners to become:
-
Competent Bible teachers who can interpret the Word of God faithfully.
-
Effective contextual preachers and communicators.
-
Pastors who serve a church community with integrity, compassion, and skill.
-
Competent pastoral counsellors.
-
Wise leaders and administrators of churches.
-
Men and women of Godly character grounded in a Charismatic evangelical theology.
2
The Future of Our Training
We are excited about the future! As soon as we receive approval for our NQF 7 qualification and institutional accreditation, we plan to transition to offering an accredited Hatfield degree-level qualification in Practical Christian Ministry. This will provide our students with an accredited tertiary qualification.
3
Flexible Learning
Our hybrid learning model provides flexibility to fit your life:
-
Live Classes: Join our classes in-person or stream them live online.
-
Asynchronous Learning: All live classes are recorded and available for you to watch at your convenience.
We currently offer an accredited NQF 5 qualification - an Occupational Certificate in Practical Pastoral Ministry, in partnership with EXCEL Theological Training Academy.
